Eighteen months into his term, President Trump has neither pushed Congress to take legislative action to raise the minimum wage – which has been stuck at $7.25 for a decade – or taken executive action to boost pay for 12.5 million private sector workers who work in federally-funded jobs.

Our research shows that Trump failed to keep his promise to deliver ‘better wages’ for America’s workers.   Even though Trump has issued hundreds of executive orders, he has yet sign one to raise pay for the millions of low-wage contract workers he oversees as CEO of the federal government.

1. Trump is now the CEO of America’s largest creator of poverty jobs – the U.S. government;
2. Trump’s government funds 4.5 million jobs in the private sector that pay less than $15 per hour through taxpayer-funded contracts, grants and other agreements with private corporations;
